275 Celebrations

Just 2 days to the 275 Anniversary celebrations at St John the Baptist.

You still have time to bake a cake.

Has your child got their costume ready? 

Winners gets £10 and a trophy.

Costumes from the last 275 years up to the 70’s.

Cake competition – all ages.

Any sponge cake variation. 

Needs to be submitted by 9am on the 25th June.

(Church open on the 24th from 10-2)

Saturday 24th June              

10-2pm            Church History, Coffee & cake.

Talks at 11am, 12pm and 1 pm

Sunday 25th June - Birth of John the Baptist       

9.30 am           Parish Communion with Bishop’s address

10.30 am         Church Fair, including:

Caricaturist; brass band; toy, wood craft, Fair Trade, jam, book & cake stalls; chocolate and bottle tombola; hamper raffles.

Football challenge, treasure hunt, face painting and biscuit making.

Food and drink: BBQ, sandwiches and cakes, mocktails.
