Rev'd Lyn's thought for the week

John the Baptist fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, “Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths”.

What needs straightening out in your life to make you ready to meet the Lord when he comes?

We are to welcome Kathreen Shabaz as an Ordinand on placement with us for the next 3 years.  During that time she will undergo her training for the Priesthood as was the case with Jackie Calow.  Kathreen will then be ordained Deacon and placed in a parish for post ordination training and to serve her Curacy, like Steven Nolan a couple of years ago.
