275 Celebrations

It has been a busy but very rewarding weekend.

Many people have put in a lot of effort with stalls and refreshment stands and we have banked just under £2,300. I am sure that this will not be the final total as we usually get additional donations later from those who could not be with us at the weekend.

A huge 'thank you' to everyone who has helped, the list is too long to list everyone, but you all saw them playing, singing, reading & running stalls and raffles, so their support will not go unrecognised.

However we need to extend special thanks to:

Hilary & Brian Saxon and Eddie & Carole Baines - they have practically lived in church for the last week or so getting the history displays and the grounds ready.

Denise Elstub who has been an integral part of the worship as well as the planning and carrying out.

David Green for preparing the history book, doing the talks and making sure we have a photographic record of the whole  weekend.

And last but not least Bishop Mark, Rev Paul Robinson and visiting clergy Rev Richard Hawkins and Brother Philip for making out 275th Parish Communion a special celebration that we will remember for years to come.

Thank you
